Interesting! The Supernatural anime got the rights for the American music that's so essential for the show! I'm really looking forward to this.

Why do Japanese/American co-productions all seem to use really thick, blocky shadows and outlines? They're doing the same thing with Iron Man, but I think this is the worst I've ever seen it. It doesn't look good.

I read some of the Hourou Musuko manga awhile ago. I really got into it despite the awkward dialogue (I think it was a bad translation) so I'll check the anime out. After seeing cross-dressing/transgender themes reduced to fetish material in webcomics over and over again it was nice to get a tasteful look at the topic.

OMG! They even used a cover of "Carry On Wayward Son" in the Supernatural anime trailer. XDDD Sam looks fantastic. Dean still looks a little goofy to me, but better than in the still sketches. Really can't wait for this anime~~

YES!! GO SUPERNATURAL!!

I was so thrilled when I heard, out of nowhere, that this hilariously well written show was getting an anime version. I though it was crazy, but it's perfect. Can't wait to see the two brothers from a show that was once pitched as "Luke Skywalker and Han Solo drive around in a 1967 Chevrolet Impala and travel the country hunting the Supernatural."

I wonder how long Warner Bros will take to dub it in English, considering the fact that Supernatural is popular here.

Wandering Son's anime looks like it'll be so cute! The animation looks really solid, and in this case I think the moe-influenced style works in its favor. Anime hyper

Can't wait to own this series!!

Sorry, I'm not really digging the engrish cover of "Carry on my Wayward Son."

The anime itself looks pretty cool... in a kind of "haven't I seen that scene before on the show" kind of deja vu feeling. Definitely buying it when it comes out, though.

Go Supernatural.

In an age, where there's hardly any anime being made with good stories to tell, this is a god send and a must buy. This and the upcomoing Berserk anime series, have me execited about anime again.

And the icing on the cake, is that with Eric Kripke involved, I know the writing will be cool.

It's rumored not to be coming over here.

Two words: Mad House. They're doing both of these. It's moreso the studio style choices and directors there.

I had to chuckle that they had a karaoke-ish version of Carry On My Wayward son. It seems fitting somehow.

With the native rabid American fanbase and the show already produced, they'd be stupid not to. The only sticking point would be hiring the actors to dub the rest of the eps.

It's so weird hearing Same & Dean in Japanese Confused . I'm glad they kept the classic rock vibe... but why a cover? Surely WB could afford to license the actual music.

Wow, that trailer of Wandering Son goes out of its way to tell you nothing, doesn't it?

I am looking forward to the manga when it comes out next year. The anime, though? Well, it's airing in the noitaminA slot, so that gives it a leg up on being good. But I'm not digging the plastic shine on everything.
