Im fairly new to manga, And was wondering what are some good manga i should try? these are the series that I have or I have some of
.Hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo(Getting it when it comes out) Dragonball Dragonball Z Inuyasha Medabots Poke'Mon Yu-Gi-Oh! Hmm, well if you like comedy and action, Ranma 1/2 may be for you. It's by Rumiko Takahashi, who also did Inu-Yasha, but it's quite a bit more crazy. The story's basically about a martial artist named Ranma, who falls into a cursed Chinese spring. Afterward, every time he is splashed with cold water, he turns into a girl.

Blade of the Immortal is a really amazing manga. Its about a guy who used to kill the good people. Then his sister is murdered in front of him. However a priestest gives him these worms that heal anypart of his body so infact he becomes immortal. So then he has to kill one thousand bad guys inorder to remove the worms. He meets up with this girl who's parents where murdered in front of her by the leader's of a rival martial arts school. Now the both of them set off to remove his curse and avenger her parents. Between the artwork and the story line the manga is absolutely flawless.

Try X, it hasn't been finished yet but hopefully by time you're done reading all there manga it will be. It's about the apocolypse and about two forces. One trying to stop another from trying to make the apcolypse happen. If you seen the movie X that should pretty much tell you what its about except the manga should go into more detail and is exceptionally good from what I hear. Plus X,was made by Clamp who are probably the best manga makers out there.
Another I would suggest is Gunparade March. It's three manga books which is off the show. Which I liked the show but it's more of a selected thing people like, meaning some people like it others well don't. Anyways, It's about war with aliens that's took almost the entire earth and all of the countries are now together to face off against these aliens. But because of so many deaths the military now has to train teenagers to pilot the Mecha that fight off the aliens. That's just the background story. The main part of manga and show is during all this death and chaos are these teenagers that have to fight in the war and there all friends. Basically, There the girls who always talk among each other like regular girls do and then theres the three guys one which is totally into the war and is always wanting to fight, theres the ladies man, and then there's the shy guy. But a new transfer student comes and the shy guy likes her but like I said he's shy. Basically, its him trying to get the girl during the time of a war. It has some good jokes in it that I recommend If your in too that kind of thing but I also recommend watching the show first. Sorry for long explaination, Kind of hard to describe it. |

I'm afraid that X has no oppotunity to have an end. Clamp have come to kodansha Press from kadokawa before X have an end. Because of copyright or some other reseans they can't go on with the manga. If you really have interest in Clamp especially X , TV anime is a good choice.(And some characters of X also appear in their new seriesXXX HOLIC) Refer to its film version, I really don't want to consider it as something to do with the manga. Moreover, I think CLOVER is their best works.

Actually, it's almost entirely different to how you describe it... More than that, it's perhaps the deepest manga I've ever read. I mean, seriously... You actually can get into the head of almost any character. |
