So the dedicated to "Anime tie-ins" magazine didn't make it. Not too surprising given that the economy in Japan is still unsteady, along with most all the rest of the world's.

Print publishing business is rough, eh?

Does anyone know if Kadokawa is in economic trouble? They had Yuji Naka's studio, Prope, make a videogame (Rodea) a couple of years ago but they haven't published it, yet. Sad

Kadokawa has flirted with disaster a few times but they always regroup and bounce back somehow. The print magazine market is in flux right now so this fallout is kind of to be expected.

Pity though. The one issue of Ace that I own is very nice. It sparked an interest in Yamato 2199 that I did not have before, so as a tie-in, it worked for me.

The Macross manga also looked good.
