Well I'm digging the character designs myself I prefer that look to a lot of the more "meh" designs on character's I've seen recently.

In terms of art, it's better than anything TV related from the 2010s. Gundam UC still has the best overall. |

I love how in one thread YamadaKun proclaims "Hand drawn animation in Japan ended in 1999" and here praises a show that's 100% hand drawn.

He means hand-painted images on cels. Drawing on paper is still how things are done first in production of a scene, after storyboarding, script, etc.
No, because one is a terrible low quality shot and the other is promo art. |
