Those lucky Taiwanese get to see Nanase Ohkawa. *Sigh* That will be pretty hard to top over in the states at Anime Expo. I'd love to see a member of CLAMP.

Hard to believe this thread is THE least viewed one on the first page.
Anyway, I just came back from Day One. Surprisingly, with the exception of grand opening stampede (to grab "Tachibana Higuchi's lucky pouch" -- in addition to some limited-edition goodies, each pouch contains a blank yet specially-designed autograph board, and only those who had bought the pouch could attend the autograph session later in the afternoon), the hall has much lesser attendees than I expected. The average age of attendees is younger than that of Fancy Frontier 7, and those little girls chasing after Tachibana-sensei (who has "nervous" written all over her face; this is her first autograph session overseas) are more celeb chasers than otaku/fujoshi. While glued at the huge screen playing Gakuen Alice anime, they didn't even know who Kana Ueda is! |
