Astro boy and Black Jack save the day one more time
thats realy cool of them to donate so much, it may seem a little trite to give manga, but somtimes people need a good escape in this kind of situation |

Getting good entertainment will help those kids get their minds off the horrible diaster. Better yet, entertainment that always teaches to continue to live and hope for the future.
Hearing this story actually reminds me of the many Japanese children who read Tezuka's manga after WWII. People like Keji Nakazawa (author of Barefoot Gen) getting escape and hope from Tezuka's manga. I hope these kids will get the same type of entertainment from Tezuka's work. |
