I was looking for "Speed Racer X", a title used in the broadcasting on Cartoon Network Latin America, but I found what I believe is an error on the Speed Racer entry.
The entry for the series ID 1445, listed as "Speed Racer 2000" (which I believe is the same series I was looking for) says this in the plot summary:
That description doesn't fit what I know of the recent Speed Racer series I was looking for. "Speed Racer X" involves regular races much in the style of the original Speed Racer series. My first impresion was that this entry was talking about a different series, but then I ran into the episode listing of that series: 1.The Mach 5's First Trial 2.Race to the Finish 3.Silver Phantom 4.Rivals 5.The Mysterious Racer X 6.The Terminizer 7.Crasher Kid 8.Race Against X 9.Good Sport 10.Terminal Velocity 11.The Jinx Of Racer X 12.Race to the Finals Ops! Hey, that listing is almost identycal to "Sped Racer X": 1.Race to the Start 2.Race to the Finish 3.Silver Phantom 4.Rivals 5.The Mysterious Racer X 6.The Terminizer 7.Crasher Kid 8.Race Against X 9.Good Sport 10.The Big Test 11.Terminal Velocity 12.The Jinx of Racer X 13.Race to the finals Could be a coincidence? I'm pretty sure Speed Racer X didn't involve time travelling. While Cartoon Network Latin America only broadcasted 13 episodes, I don't think this would happen in the following episodes. |
