Kamen Rider, Kikaider, Inazuman, Ninja Arashi

but the only one out of Ishinomori stuff over here is Skullman and Cyborg 009, I want more MORE MORE!

I want to read Violence Jack and Devilman in English Anime cry

Bleh, I don't like Go Nagai's stuff at all.

It's technically not manga, but dieing to read the Juuni Kokki novels. There was a rumor that Del Ray was trasnlating them, but that turned out to be false. :(

I'd love for Inugami or Free Collars Kingdom to come out stateside.

I don't know about possibilities for Inugami. It's not very well known stateside, or in Japan(aside from otaku). But, it's doing alright in France. Horror manga doesn't seem to do all too well stateside, so I'm not sure.

Free Collars Kingdom would've had better luck if Tokyopop hadn't licensed Deus Vitae. Deus Vitae, although by the same author(and far prettier), was positively awful. If Tokyopop pays attention to opinions on it, I have a feeling Free Collars Kingdom might not see stateside until DV is forgotten.

lol how isn't it mangas, manga just means comics, so if its a comic its a manga

I love go nagai's stuff, at least half of his series that he created were copied by everyone basically

Mazinger Z started the entire Giant robot craze for example
Getter Robo started the transforming robots craze too and was also the first gattai robot too Smile

Anything by Iou Kuroda (in particular Japan Tengu Party Illustrated), but I can't see that happening in the near future. His art, while amazing, looks nothing like most manga, and he usually does loosely connected short stories. Japan Tengu Party Illustrated is a continuous narrative (an incredibly epic one at that), but it shares little in common with most of what's being released over here. Icci the Killer deserves a domestic release, but I can't imagine any company having the you-know-whats to even touch it. Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou definitally deserves attention stateside, as well as Kaiji Kawaguchi's works. I've seen some really interesting shojo mangas that, because their art looks nothing like the typical shojo style, probobly won't be licenced.
I'd also like to see the rest of Striker (AKA Spriggan), one of my favorite shonen mangas (why Viz canceled it but picked up the author's other manga, the TERRIBLE Project ARMS, is beyond me). I pray Viz will bring the rest of No.5 over here as well.

Because I just called them novels, The Twelve Kingdoms/Juuni Kokki series are books. You know, books. Lots of words, pratically no pictures, requires an intellect to read it? Those kind of books.

Require intellect to read? Actually, it just require a good imaginary to turn words into picture is all you need.

There are manga out there that are highly intellectual, but then you probably need to stop reading the kiddy shonen books like Bleach or Love Hina to get to the more meaningful manga.

I would like Kiseijuu to come over. The first time I read it, it was really weird, but I like it because it's a different take (sort of).

After the dissappointing Boys Be book being release, we need Golden Boy. Far more echiii than the anime.

I'd like to see either Zombie Powder or Death Note released over here, both are awesome series and I'd love to own them...of course since they're both Jump titles it's more of a "when" they're released then a "if" they're released Wink

Then you'll be happy to know that it was released here by Tokyopop (when they were called Mixx) under the name Parasyte. Now the bad news: it's out of print. Tokyopop has only really reprinted its old shojo stuff, so the chances of Paraside seeing a second edition are unfortunatally slim. You can find most of them on amazon.

Parasyte is out of print? God that sucks. My library has the entire series, just started making my way through it recently. Damn good stuff.

Personally, a lot of the best manga I've read recently have just been one shot shorts - I'm tired of all those needlessly drawn out storylines that you find so often in manga, just give me something short and sweet and to the point. But unfortunately, those kinds of things will NEVER be released stateside, unless the artist gets insanely popular over here and they get collected together (like Rumic World).

Um...

Good topic. I want to see several series myself.

These include:

Rozen Maiden
Tsukyomi Moon Phase
Magic User's Club
Mythical Detective Loki (The First 7 volumes!)

I'm sure others will come to mind soon.
