You've been around long enough to know that questions about volume numbers can be found by looking at the encyclopedia -_-

manga#1511

Usually if the series has a "Number of tankoubon" listed in bold, that means it has indeed finished. Checking the releases section also helps, as they should have the amount of volumes currently released at the time.

Therefore, Monster has 18 volumes, but D.Gray-man has not finished. Only 1 volume has been released in North America as of this post, and at least 7 in Japan as of this post.

Anytime you need to know how many volumes long a series is (at least ones being released in the U.S.) you can just check AoD's Manga comparison page here.

Actually Monster goes up to at least either volume 17 or 18. I think it's 18. As for D.Grayman, I'm not sure. What I do know is that it's further than volume 3.

D-grayman volume8 is released on July 4th.

I have read D-grayman from the beginning. It restarted again but it has been getting less interesting.

My favorite jump manga isn't on Encyclopedia. Crying or Very sad I don't care though.

Monster goes up to volume 18. YOU must do research!! D-Gray Man isn't finished so you still have to wait and see.
