I bought the game(s) at a book off in fujisawa-shi for about 6300yen (about $64), and it's well worth the money.

It may be remastered, but you can still see it hasn't been the best looking Gamecube/PS2 game of all time.

But Koretto is as stupid-funny as i remember, the battlesystem works, and the story is still good (atleast i love it).

And that's just Tales of Symphonia. Tales of Symphonia Ratatosuku no Kishi is my favorite Tales of them all - i can't wait to play it in HD once i'm done with ToS.

I replayed Ratatosuku no Kishi on Wii not too long ago, and the PS3 remaster really shows how much an HDMI port is worth if you got a modern TV.

One thing that bothers me about ToS though is the aliasing you see sometimes. Noone can tell me the PS3 doesn't have enough power to display ToS with proper Anti-aliasing on all scenes/objects - Tales of Graces F has had alot less aliasing as far as i remember, and that's a Wii port, not a PS2 port. They could have also recorded the unvoiced parts of the game - there's quite a bit of that.

As far as i can tell there is no english texts or audio in this (japanese) version. Atleast i haven't seen an option to switch languages.

Was there any mention on where these would be available?

Couple notes:

When it got announced, the Japanese collectors were shown with "may not be exactly as listed" (or something similar) on it. So has it for sure been confirmed that it IS the same items as Japan, because pretty much every website say the image but missed the fine print, assuming it's a sure thing.

Lastly, is it 15,000 copies? I heard it was ONLY 1,500! According to a Tweet.

Wish I knew what was what!

They made more after it was released, you can still get one around $100 on amazon or ebay.

Wonder if there's any chance the light novel would be released outside of the CE? I'd like to read it but I don't really want to pay $100 for this game, since I couldn't really get into the original.

1,500 had to be a typo, there's no way they'd make the print run for it that obscenely small.

Yeah, it's been confirmed now. Even for pre-order in the Namco Store already! ...but I'll wait (and don't recommend it). I'll wait for GS, because (except for the Wind Waker LEs), they don't suck at packing their boxes to ship :/

Its not actually available in club namco, they say out of stock.

But you can get it at amazon or gamestop, both started the pre order today.
