Robbing a Maid Cafe where they treat you with respect and serve you with a smile? That's a pretty low thing to do but maybe he got the whole "Master" thing wrong.

I wanna say that I went to that maid cafe back in 2008 when I went to Japan. At the very least the name rings a bell. Anyways, just goes to show that people are messed up in the head no matter where you are I guess.

It's the biggest maid cafe company in Japan, they even have a branch in Odaiba. If you go to Akiba you can't miss it (or its maids doing catch sales outside) as it's literally right at the corner on the main road after the station. I wouldn't be worried for their financial safety. That being said what I find very odd is that the man was at the cafe for an _hour_ before robbing the place? What criminal loiters in the business they plan on robbing for a full hour beforehand? Something tells me this might not be a "real" robbery by a career criminal but rather just a guy snapping or mental illness. Maybe he realized he didn't have enough money to pay the bill and freaked out. |
