Imo, Attack on Titan doesn't deserve any award.
Animators were underpaid or not paid at all and deadlines weren't met (production errors everywhere).

8.1 is the best desktop OS out there. You you want to argue Apple has better OS.

Yet it was still far more technically impressive than any other anime coming out in 2013 (except Aku no Hana in a way, but we all know the shitstorm this one raised). And the little errors will just be fixed in the BDs anyway, so I don't see the drama there.
Hell, 2013 was a damn shitty year for anime with just a few enjoyable titles... if an anime were to take this prize I don't have any doubts which it should be.

It wasn't "technically impressive" at all, unless you mean it was "technically impressive" that it could cut as many corners in production as it did and get away with it.

It's amazing how different opinions can be. I thought it was one of the best years for anime in a while.
