This summed up my thoughts well.
When I read the must have photo to enter my thoughts was they'll just pick a pretty girl.But who knows?She may be the next big singer.

It's actually typical to include a face photo with your resume in Japan. But the body photo requirement definitely shows they're not looking for the best voice singer.
(It's not like people who buy the CDs look for the voice anyway.)
