That trailer is much more optimistic of the in series tone than what happens in the show, lol.

Have they officially announced the dub cast yet? I know a few actors have already revealed themselves.

Wow, that's some horrible subtitling.

I wonder if Netflix will be streaming the broadcast version or blu-ray version

First BD volume is already out and since this was planned very early on and they already have the international dubs done, I hope they are producing the dubs on final home video version.

some changes:
http://blog.livedoor.jp/nizigami/archives/38346555.html
- nudity

http://natalie.mu/comic/news/114315
- CG supervisor and producer mentions about 20 new cuts (scenes) per volume! (see the sample image)

I thought they were dubbing the show for its premiere on Netflix. Why isn't the trailer dubbed (or subbed, for that matter)?

Apparently they're using youtube's closed captioning for the subtitles on this. Such a trollish trailer! And Netflix Original? Bullshit.

This has been bothering me since I saw their page for it. I've already had to correct one person who thought that Netflix made the series themselves, and wanted them to make other animated series.

Just like with Ricky Gervais show Derek being a "Netflix Original" despite it being a production for Channel 4 in the UK.

"Netflix Original" is just how they brand all their first-run shows (at least in America). There are a bunch of show that say that despite being previously shown elsewhere (old Arrested Development?)

Just replace "original" with "exclusive".

Netflix is also, I believe, on record saying that some of their most loyal early customers were anime fans. It's not outside the realm of possibility that when they decided to test the waters on anime dubbing, they also secured a tiny spot on the production committee, especially considering how early they announced. After all, they have people focused on licensing content from/for various locales. Here is an open position for a Director of Content Acquisition - Latin America. They could easily have a Japanese group.

I didn't really they were dubbing this, so that's pretty neat. I've been pretty confused why everyone was making such a big deal about this since it seemed to me they basically did the same thing with AoT, but it makes a bit more sense now.

It does annoy me that it's being called a "Netflix Original", though. Whether than means anything or not doesn't matter much since most people are now going to assume Netflix made it and that just doesn't seem fair to the creators.

I want to know if this will get a disc release. Making it streaming only especially with the dub and not doing a DVD/BD release is not cool for people with bad ISPs (hello Bright House) and bandwidth caps.
