So in other words he's doing a low-budget remake of Dawn of the Dead, then.
Eh, if they cast Johnny Knoxville as Frank West, I'll check it out just for lols.

Yeah that's the problem, Dead Rising (the first game) was a homage to Dawn of the Dead, and adapting Dead Rising into a film is basically a remake of Dawn of the Dead. So I have a feeling this film adaptation may not do so well (except fans of the game). |

It'd be faithful to the games. (Not that the games are awful to play, but they are intentionally bad.) |
