I advise anyone thinking about submitting their work not to
Saban has been on a mission to be the next Walt Disney for 20 years.
With this contest Saban just wants to steal your animation idea and make billions from it.

Here's a better idea, start your own animation company, and you make billions

The more you know...

Oh, hey, and maybe they could all ride sailboards, and one of them could be in a wheelchair! Very Happy

(Nah, they'd just laugh themselves silly...)

Saban Brands definitely had nothing to do with that. IIRC neither did Saban Entertainment.

Haim Saban used to walk among the cubicles at DIC where the artists would be working and shout "Work harder! Make me rich! Make me lots of money!"

Pretty sure he is not interested in sharing the profits with anyone who gives him their ideas.

I thought it was proven Saban had nothing to do with that.

That why you should never give out your good ideas to any company that'll own your work.
That's like working for free.

For everybody that makes it big, there's tens of thousands that fail to simply survive and hundreds not doing much more than treading water. Just look at 4chan: it's been going since 2003, gained a reputation as a hive of scum and villainly and's made moot next to nothing despite being incredibly popular.

I only think this is good for an animator who wants to get their name out there with advertising and marketing that they can't afford to do themselves. Saban does have the resources and for anyone who wants a quick gain, this would be doable.

We don't think their standards would be high, so ya don't have to use your best work.

Just look at the successes of kickstarter with Under the Dog, dubbing of Patama Inverted, Mi Mi Miracle, etc. there is money out there for independents and you can be darn sure that Saban will own what you give him. As for a chance to be known, I bet your name and authorship will quietly fade away if it becomes another successful Saban show, from the genius who gave the world Power Rangers.
