With Shirow authoring, and Rikudou's nice artwork, this is a must buy.

This looks so cool and I can't wait to get this! But... oh god Shirow writing. Please don't make my brain hurt too much.

Wow, that's the first time a Shirow manga didn't get published by Dark Horse. Maybe they know something Yen doesn't?

Not to be confused with Pandora Hearts or Crimson Shell by Jun Mochizuki. I had to do a triple take with that title.

Dark Horse lost their stranglehold on Shirow's stuff a while back, as the main Ghost in the Shell books are entirely over with Kodansha these days (the SAC manga adaptation too, I think?). Not sure where Black Magic, Orion, and Dominion stand these days either, as DH only seems to have Appleseed (per a quick check on their digital storefront) and the Intron Depot stuff as going concerns.

Ehhhh idk. I really love the setting the summary gives us, but that cover alone tells me I'd rather have a little preview of some sort before I consider buying this to see if it's my cup of tea. Preferably digital since I'd rather delete a book I might not like than have that copy take up physical space till I give it away, or simply just save physical space and be able to download it instantly. I'm personally fine enough with just trying to complete my SAO light novel, Nisekoi, Bakuman, and Yotsuba&! collection, though I'll include Biscuit Hammer, Kagerou Daze, Haruhi LN, and perhaps Absolute Solitude LN.

I wonder what the rest of the announcements will be.

Huh, when did Shirow last work on a manga? I thought he had moved to illustration work only.

This article doesn't say, but this is a yuri manga. It's about the relationship between a cyborg girl and an android girl. It's mostly subtext but the cyborg is obviously smitten by the cute android.

Also, it's not written by Shirow, it's just based on a concept by him. Rikudou does both the writing and the artwork.

Not saying you are wrong, but the article says different.

I got it from the manga volumes so I'm pretty sure I'm right.

I was excited, but now I'm confused, so its confirmed Shirow's only contribution is the concept?

Eh, nothing about this one interests me. The first 2 announcements from Seven Seas did, as I'll definitely be getting Non Non Biyori and The Ancient Magus' Bride sounds interesting, but I'm going to wait on reviews for it.

This one just does nothing for me, from the cover to the description of the series. And, names attached to a project don't carry as much weight with me as they do for some others. There is a degree of trust in seeing a name of a creator I like attached, but I never blindly buy everything from a certain creator or think that their new project must be good because they made it.
