Hi, I was browsing these threads when I came upon someone mentioning AnimeDepot.com I went and checked them out and saw that they're still selling a limited edition box set of an anime I want that supposedly went out of print two years. And for only around $70. In Amazon, it's going for over $300. Does this seem odd to anybody else? The website doesn't seem dead or abandoned because there are new anime shows being sold that came out in 2014. Is the website legit? Should I take a chance and try buying it?
If they're the same Anime Depot that goes to a lot of cons, then you should be ok. I bought a brand new Patlabor New Files OVA this past summer at their Otakon booth (before it got rescued). I only saw legit stuff at their booth, no bootlegs (well, I didn't check the porno section as carefully)

idk. I don't go to any cons. And animedepot seems to be as generic of a name as you can get for an anime retailer.
I've bought from them a few times. I found a few items they had that were out of print at good prices but some of the other things that I ordered were out of stock and they called me or emailed to let me know.
You can try ordering from them but know that there is a chance that they may not have an item even though it is listed on their site.
