If it needs two other people nearby, then count me out--I know very few people who play video games, so cooperative multiplayer games like Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles and such are pretty much unplayable for me.

That's so strange to see a 3-player game nowadays. The only other game I know of that's 3-player is Secret of Mana.

Not only can you play it single with two AI companions, but it features online multiplayer so you don't need to know people to play it with if you do opt for multiplayer.

Ah, that's reassuring. I live in a high-crime area, and also one where Nintendo's "babyish" image is still very strong, so other people who enjoy Nintendo games tend to keep that a secret.

I'm glad it has single player, I'm not a fan of multiplayer only games.
