Even in 8-bit(and a little 16-bit), its still a masterpiece.

I kinda forgot how ridiculous (in a good way) it was that he could consistently blow people's heads and limbs off with a bow and arrow.

There are some movies (Pirates of the Caribbean 4, Jurassic World) that I first saw as Lego videogames, before seeing the actual movie.
Would that I similarly had seen the 16-bit Mononoke first.
The real thing would have been much easier to tolerate.
