Why....why does almost every single manga which I want to get a second season gets a freaking stage play instead? Ugh.

Close enough.
If I remember correctly, this anime is produced by Manglobe which went into bankrupt recently. So unless another animation studio steps up, second season is out of the question.

i hope another studio steps in, bc imo Karneval is one of those animes who didn't stray too far from manga material. I was really happy how the anime turned up, and really is hoping for a season 2 ;w;
