Some of those designs have an elegant-cute feel to it, looks like it may be the end of Jewelpet, between this and Show By Rock, it can't compete.

Blame Magical Change for it, it essentially ruined the Anime Franchise after multiple controversies.

Luna's VA got changed without the previous VAs knowledge. However the low ratings and broken base (especially with the human form designs and Ruby's voice, it took awhile to adjust to Misono voicing Luna) is what really killed the series.

Don't be so sure. Misono says there could very well be a new Jewelpet series by the end of January. The toys are still selling like wildfire, and the franchise is still pretty huge in Japan.

I don't know you have the constant rumors of the anime ending and now you have this announcement, coupled with bad ratings, you have a recipe for a franchise being canned for the next best thing.

Oh yay! They didn't come out with any new characters this year, I'm glad to see we'll get some new ones next year. I'm loving the art style too. I'll definitely try to get some merch of this. I hope they make plushes right away, those are by far my favorite things to get for my Sanrio collection.
Are there any specific details about the game? Such as system or price or anything? I'm kind of hoping it'll just be a free to play mobile game along the lines of Show By Rock or Hello Kitty toys so I can get it.
