Oh no! Anime is making my kid stupid! Dramatic!
Dear Pakistan Movement for Justice, how about dealing with women rights and discrimination first?

It's really disturbing when adults say that children aren't allowed to have a childhood

I think these people must have lived under a rock when they were kids. There is nothing wrong with Doraemon. In fact it's more of a positive show for kids. What's next, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic?
And children going through this stage in life is what many or even what most children do like pretending they are Batman, Spider-man or Superman or whoever their favorite character is which is perfectly normal.

Why are they watching Doorman when they could be watching Burka Avenger?

Aw, poor weeaboos, not liking dubbed anime. But seriously, as I am of Indian ethnicity, I literally heard Doraemon in that language first.

Subbed >>> Dubbed
My honest opinion.

Actually, since they want to ban all kids channels, this may pretty much be a case as well

You say that like no-one in a first world country ever kicked up a fuss over kids' comics and cartoons, going on about how they're harmful to children, calling on them to be censored or banned, etc.

The rude and ignorant comments stop now. As does the sub vs dub debate before it gets started in full swing. Not even on page 2 and already have 3 reports for this thread.

^ Oh sorry, I didn't noticed your message before reporting. Well, maybe you should remove them if there's quite a few that make reports already.
As for this topic, this problems have been ongoing for so long ago. I remembered reading the same exact topics about a few years ago but I didn't know it still haven't went into effect. It's nonsensical nonetheless, at least the kids gonna have some imaginations instead of being forced into manual labor and such which is typical in aforementioned countries in the article. It's parents job to remind them that they shouldn't get overboard. Kids are kids afterall, they needed someone to guide them if things went too astray.

Of course, of course my country (India) also has a say in this. They don't mind little kids watching the next Vijay or Ajith film full of violence, smoking, drinking, drugs etc.
But GOD FORBID a kid watches his or her favorite cartoon. Nope nope nope. Cartoons are EVIL.
They don't mind the kids trying to act like hitmen or mafia bosses like the recent Rajini film but noooo acting like a character in a cartoon? NOOO.
Besides, why not complain about the kids acting like Chota Bheem? Nope.
HYPOCRITES.
