Asking someone who knows more than I do: In modern age, is it still more common or not for women to retire from full time work after marriage? What about in the voice acting industry? It will be a shame for some of the best voice actresses to be pressured into retiring because of old societal norms.

What's "old societal norms" got to do with this?

Nazuka Kaori still hosting her semi-weekly online radio show even after marriage and two childbirth and some voice acting (both her children are <7 y.o. I think).
Itou Shizuka is still voice acting after her marriage (until recently co-hosting the radio for WIXOSS Lostorage with Hashimoto Chinami), same goes for Hikasa Youko (radio of Long Riders with Touyama Nao).
That's just the few that I do know of (both the marriage status and the career part of it).
