I've only ever seen it written as Ho-oh, never as Hōō and since it spelt right in article I'm guessing your title is messed up.

In Japanese it's ホウオウ which (according to Google Translate) is Hōō. So it's not wrong but yeah it's weird not seeing its English name being used when that's how I've always seen it too.

I usually see it rendered either as Houou, or the English Ho-oh.
That being said, I'm hoping this gets brought to the US. I enjoyed their Zelda game, even if I wasn't able to clear it in time.
