Hi everyone!

First of all, if you do see this, thanks for your time! I really appreciate it.

Anywho, I'm here to get a bit of help from the anime hivemind on a compilation CD I'd like to find.

Now it's a bit of a long shot but its best to try and see what we can get out of it.

When I was a kid, I remember that I bought a series of anime Compilation CD with Pikachu on the cover. The CDs were green and orange and they had written best of, but any text written inside was in Japanese. There were two CDs within the album and all were assorted openings and endings from the 80s, 90s and 2000s.

Time went on and unfortunately, I lost the CD but I never forgot my favorite songs.

The first of the 2 CDs had some OPs and EDs from:

- Yell and Feeling Heart from To Heart, a 1999 anime
- Butterfly, Brave Heart and I wish from the Digimon Adventure 1999 anime
- Last Piece and Shizuku from GTO
- Ai yo kienaide, Blue Air Message and Mr Private Eye from City Hunter
- Yuzurenai negai, Ashita no yuuki and Hikari no Tsubasa from Magic Knight Rayearth
- Dai-jo-bu, Ultra Relax and Vitamin Love from Kodocha

The 2nd CD had OPs and EDs that included:

- the Ending from the Lupin III movie Harimao's treasure
- The Ending from the Lupin III movie The secret of Twilight Gemini
- The ending for the Lupin III movie Dead or Alive
- Hohoemi no bakudan from Yu Yu Hakusho
- Sayonara no Bye Bye from Yu yu Hakusho
- Taiyou gata kagayaku from Yu Yu Hakusho
- Ashita mo Shi Kimi From Yu-Gi-Oh season 0
- Kawaita Sakebi from Yu-Gi-Oh season 0
- Bakuretsu Hunters opening What's up

I know it's a bit of a stretch, but I guess I'd like to know if anyone else had a particular album like this one...even though it's likely out of print because it's quite old, but I still want to try, so here I am.

Thanks again for any helpful responses!

Cheers! Very Happy

My guess would be that it's a compilation from the company who did the OP/ED for those series. I've got a similar VHS around here somewhere, that also has OP and ED videos for a bunch of different anime. Unfortunately, I can't find the company, which would be your starting place to search.

Probably it is rather a rare thing that a legit major record company compiles an anime-song compilation CD album like this.
In view of the hotchpotch feel of the track list with the picture of Pikachū on the cover, it may be better for you (Koukan) to take the possibility of the album's being a bootleg into account.

Deleted a necropost that did nothing except quote the original post. Locking the thread.
