I was most surprised to see them using a Steinway when Yamaha seemed to be a big sponsor for the TV series.
Hibike's TV soundtracks are absolutely some of the best soundtracks for anime, IMO. Matsuda Akito is severely underrated. Really can't wait to see this film |

Visually the movie looks like Yamada's other work, A Silent Voice and K-ON in particular. I really loved the art of the series so I have mixed feelings about it but hey I'll watch the movie anyway I'm sure it'll grow on me or be a minor nitpick to deal with.

^Yeah, the change in art style is throwing me off a little bit, too. I'm just now noticing how lanky the girls look this way - their necks are so long!
