I'd be interested in hearing more about this sector of Japan's animation academia. I'm sure there are new talented people out there waiting to cut their teeth on their first project.
In Japan, for whatever reason you can get into the animation industry and if you're good have a career before you're 40.

That's only half of the solutions needed to address the problems animators face, the second is the pay, Younger animators are still being paid wages lower than McDonalds, however this is great step forward nontheless.
