there's nothing wrong with the designs...I just don't like them. Character designs are a big factor in weather I'll watch an anime.

I know that at Funi VA Matt Shipman likes the series. So, while I have not read the manga yet, that is a possible candidate for voicing the lead guy. That is, if a person is familiar with a manga (somewhat to a die-hard fan), that might be an advantage at picking a voice actor or actress as they are somewhat familiar with the series.
