 Some older Pokemon will be in the game as Galarian forms.

The new Galarian forms look really cool. I especially like Obstagoon and Morpeko looks cute. It's interesting how we're getting a lot of different battling modes for this game and I'm curious to see more of Hangry mode. I also like the designs of the new rivals, especially Marnie. I'm a little eh on Team Yell so far but I need to see more.

No one's talking about how Galarian Zigzagoon and its familly is one giant reference to Kiss? I was laughing so hard when I saw that... because seriously... never expected it like at all.

I obviously don't get why it's getting so much backlash on the internet. Sure, I'm pretty disappointed in the national dex being removed, but come on! In my view, this is probably going to do to the mainline Pokémon RPGs what Final Fantasy X did to its namesake franchise, and complete the full circle starting from X and Y when it comes to the games becoming increasingly cinematic.

Where do I start? Galarian Forms!! Yeah, and I love them, OMG even Linonne get a Evo and only now I notice they are KISS reference, watch out, don't provoke to Simmons. I love Industrial Revolution Weezing. Marley at the last. And there, we have a jerk rival. |

So Galarian Pikachu is an electric hamster with an exercise-wheel attack and a "Hangry" form. That's gonna be a meme factory, for sure. And we've got KISS-zagoon and Team Punk Rock. What was the internet all mad about, again?

I'm glad to see Galarian forms aren't limited to Kanto Pokemon like Alolan forms were.
Man I hope there aren't that many cinematics if they're like the ones in sun and moon. Many of those were boring and unskippable. |

Oof, Team Yell has such an underwhelming name but I love the idea of the antagonists being rabid fanboys/soccer hooligans. They're not out for world domination or money, they just want to doxx anyone who doesn't love and support their precious Marnie-chan as much as they do.
