I wonder how slow paced this is because it would be a real bummer if the series ended at the confession stage. Also, I find it amusing the main peeps of 5-tōbun no Hanayome are working on this.

well, the manga ended even before that.

There is 2 mangas, the more recent one is ongoing and will reach that point

The trailer was good and it is rare to see a yuri light novel series get an anime adaptation. It will likely be slow paced compared to most recent yuri anime but it is good to have some shows that are more nuanced.
