I wonder if the KidZone will be entirely re-themed on Pokémon... I wouldn't be surprised. Woody Woodpecker is a legendary cartoon character and all, but he hasn't been relevant in years. Kids today only care about Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck in terms of classic cartoon characters, so I think it's time for Pikachu to steal the spotlight.

Technically speaking, Pokémon is not a Nintendo brand. That would have to be a completely separate announcement!

I don't know how they could open Pokemon this year. I haven't heard anything about them starting on it yet on the Universal Studios site I go to. The last I had heard was a 2024 opening date.
