Anemone was one of the most baffling things I watched this year, so I hope this third movie is good enough to make that one better in retrospect. Also, there'd better not be any funky CG character animation in it.

Is there finally going to be a point to these Eureka 7 movies?

Why does it seem like no one can make a proper Eureka Seven sequel?

Why did anyone think that making a sequel of any sort to Eureka Seven was truly worthwhile or even necessary? And this is coming from someone that actually liked the very first movie (for what is was, largely unwarranted as it was)…

That's what we all thought, until we watched Anemone, aka Eureka Seven 2.22: Eurekan (Not) Redo, which reveals spoiler[the different versions of Eureka Seven (TV series, Pocket Full of Rainbows, the manga, AO, etc.) are all alternate realities Eureka created after merging with the Scub Coral because she can't accept Renton's death. Except he actually is alive. Anyway, this third movie has a lot to explain and resolve].

I hate to say this and offend a bunch of people. But I use to like Eureka Seven when it came out, but looking back at it, it has becomes one of those anime shows the more I look back at it, The less and the less I like it. I still like a lot of anime and manga but sadly I have lost like in it and it has become an anime that has not aged well as time has gone.
