As I said last week, after horse girls the next logical step would be bishi jockeys.

Finally a "pretty boys do sports and being homoerotic to various degrees" show I'm interested in... vaguely. It doesn't look terribly exciting, but at least it's a bit of a step away from the norm I guess? so it could be worth it as an "anime snack".
Also, I wonder how much of a budget they have, because if the show doesn't have the money and talent to animate horses and riding properly it's likely going to be Yuuri on Ice all over again for me. (Where I didn't care for any of the characters or the story, and had to be disappointed about the animation too, especially after the truly beautiful Endless Night short.) |

The next step are doujins about both... Sorry, it was an obvious joke. On the topic, I'm glad Lay-Duce has more work, but I'm a bit concerned they are making so many female-oriented titles lately. |

I guess it was inevitable that we'd get a Bishonen horse racing anime.

Horse girls are safe from R-18 works by the Yakuza enforcing the deal cygames was able to make with the horse owners about not allowing R-18 works of the horses. |

I just like the studio but their last series or thew two new ones they announced is not something I am interested in watching. |

Next step is bishie jockeys riding the horse girls, duh.
Can't seem to sort anime involvement by year in ANN encyclopedia, but on MAL I'd only consider I★Chu: Halfway Through the Idol their recent female-oriented title. I guess Yuru Yuri may be female-oriented (given it runs in Comic Yuri Hime) but only thing recent is the OVA. https://myanimelist.net/anime/producer/1087/Lay-duce (sort by Start Date) More anime listed on ANN but it's mostly as production assistance as opposed to primary studio. Not really something I'm concerned about as there are still plenty of male-oriented titles being made by other studios |

This is what I meant. Their only non-supporting work in last 2 years was a show about male idols and both new titles they announced are shoujo based on another work about male idols and this title about bishi jokeys. |

We had studios like Arms and TNK making primarily male-oriented ecchi shows for years; I wouldn't sweat it if Lay-Duce finds their niche with the female demographic. Looking up Wikipedia, parent company Twin Engine has Geno Studio, Revoroot, and Studio Colorido under them as well. Wouldn't be surprised if they decided to allocate female-oriented shows to Lay-Duce, like how Revoroot picked up two isekais recently or how Studio Colorido just mainly does movies and ONAs. |
