I really loved Love*Com, but even some of Nakahara's previous shorts kind of felt oddly stretched or forced, and both Otonanajimi and Dame na Watashi felt that way especially, basically the whole way through. Love*Com could drag on at times, but overall, it was balanced. But her josei works feel like shojo trying to pretend to appeal to "adult circumstances," and it doesn't work for me.
