I was not expecting this to happen to be quite frank. Normally, when Viz Media don't license something from Shonen Jump it either goes to a digital publisher like Manga Planet or a competitor like Seven Seas or even Dark Horse. I wasn't expecting a near-forgotten company like Udon to grab this or any SJ title. Quite the surprise.

I wouldn't say Udon's been forgotten. They were the only ones ballsy enough to license and release the Rose of Versailles manga, even after years of delays.

tbh I really like the translation it already has so I wonder what they'll change. I hope they keep the rural lingo in the dialogue, it's one of my favourite parts of the manga

I usually associate Udon with anime/manga/game artbooks.
