I'm so happy that YP have licensed Shadows House. I can finally read the manga!

Someone I know looked this up, and they told me the color version is not printed in Japan, it's ebook only. And even if that's not true, full color makes it significantly more expensive to print. Even Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, which sells phenomenally in English, is only available in B&W with a few pastel color pages, regardless of the fact that the full color editions are very much available in Japan. Maybe it's different for other countries, but for the US at least, if there's a B&W version, that's what will be licensed 99% of the time. |

I have a copy of the JP manga and it is just B&W, so it would be the same for the ENG version. Unfortunate but I'm happy to have SH in english regardless. |

Super happy about Shadow House and will support it. So it sounds like the Kindle release could be in color and the physical print release in black and white? I'm supporting it either way.

As a compromise, they could print a version where all the Shadow children have their faces in full colour.
