Was just about to start watching this one. I'm guessing they're splitting it because of the difficult 2D mech animation.

It's worth it though. Compare the mecha animation here to say, gen:Lock.

I was expecting this, but it was still odd that they didn't make this announcement right after the end of the first part aired. The preview for episode 14 said nothing about the air date, which misled some into thinking the show would continue into the Winter 2022 season.

As long as Blank Paper performs the OP song again (or they keep the 1st OP song and just change the visuals, which is fine as well since its so good) then all is right.

the second half of this season. But production problems necessitated a very hasty split-cour instead of continuing uninterrupted.
