Really depressed over this. I love the Ten Count manga. Feels like BL fans are constantly getting the short end of the stick, if not outright ignored...

Sigh, I wouldn't be surprised if the Twittering Birds Never Fly sequel is next (it's been almost 4 years with no updates). And we get so few BL anime to begin with...

This is really saddening news. Everyone's pointed it out, but it's true; there seem to be so few BL anime adaptations or original projects, it's such a shame when one is outright abandoned like this.

Oh, man, I’m really crushed. I loved this series. While I didn’t have high hopes for a great adaptation in the first place, having NO adaptation is a big blow.

I called this last year. When you haven’t updated your socials or website in a year or longer, it’s over. The people working on this were a bunch of (NSFW) spoiler[twats]. The animation looked child-like with no real regard to the manga. Production delayed the anime multiple times because they didn’t plan ahead thoroughly enough to get the format correct the first time. It’s just a cluster fudge. Hopefully this will be picked up by more competent staff at some point.
It’s very sad that we get so few quality BL anime and movies to begin with. GL seems to be doing fairly well and you constantly have lesbian and bisexual females in more and more big anime these days. Hopefully one day, we’ll see gay and bisexual male characters in them as well. I get tired of seeing myself in anime as a joke character. |

It's for the best, honestly. They need to be putting their time, money, and production resources into the next batch of 'The 100 Tiddies Who Really Really Really Really Really Isekai You'.

Not well versed in BL. I liked Banana Fish, and plan on watching a few, like Given. Regardless of that, I hope BL fans get their momentum, like Yuri did. Until a few years ago, there weren't all that many Yuri adaptations.

I've been waiting for so long, this is so disappointing
At least I have the manga and drama CDs. Still amazed I was able to navigate Amazon Japan to order those CDs. |

Jeez... I get being disappointed with these kind of news, but no need to throw free insults at staff, specially when the actual details regarding the production are not fully know. |
