Please note, if it’s not family-friendly enough for Disney+, Disney will just take this to Hulu in the United States. It will be on Disney+ elsewhere, albeit with the Star+/Hotstar branding.

This really seems like a random grab for Disney lol but I won’t lie this caught my interest I like Sci Fi stuff. Gotta say though I’m genuinely curious to see if Disney will stay in the anime game in the long run because it really seems they’re just acquiring these shows to push more into the Japanese market.

Disney signed a deal with Kodansha, so expect more.
Too bad they suck at delivery and promotion.

Yea I know that they will definitely have more shows in the future given the expansion deal with Kodansha but I really am curious to know if it’s even going to last long if it turns out to not be profitable in the long run for them, similar to when Amazon tried to get in the anime game with Anime strike and failed. I do agree with you they suck horribly with their promotion it’s like they don’t care.
