Yea it was definitely a good buy I mean Hive went from licensing like 3 anime’s per season to like 10+.

Seems more like this is what happens when their biggest competitors marry, creating a void that allows Sentai to get more stuff because the other two aren't trying to one up one another anymore.

I disagree. Merged Crunchyroll is still trying to get all the simulcasts they can. CR licensed 41 shows from Winter 2023. If Sentai/HIDIVE was still independent CR would have licensed 47 shows.

I would believe your explanation if CR was only aquiring 25-30 shows each season. And Funimation did not marry Crunchyroll, it ABSORBED it.

Dang it! When I first read the manga I imagined Vermillio voiced by Cristina Vee. Pretty much an LA cast basically; not sure what studios there since all the streaming sites started competing.

Come to think, I'm not sure if Cristina even voices anime anymore. Didn't she do Ducktales recently?
