Tweeny Witches getting a BR release is so sweet, that was an overlooked gem when it came out. I just really hope Media Blasters has got it together when it comes to their disc holders, after THREE purchases and returns of the first Squid Girl DVD set back when it came out because every disc holder was broken and the disc scratched, I haven’t bought anything from Media Blasters since (thank god Sentai handled the Blu Ray of Squid Girl).
Tweeny Witches is great and I’d appreciate not having to deal with such a headache again.

Almost can't believe that its taken THIS LONG for Daemons of the Shadow Realm to get its first volume published.

Yes, it is a really good release from Studio 4C before they got swallowed up by CGI. Some great animation, and a pretty good story. Another series where the protagonist isn't that good at magic, but wholeheartedly believes that "Magic should be used to bring happiness!" (a theme shared with Little Witch Academia and The Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady, company that Tweeny Witches would not be embarrassed to be compared to).
(I hope the BR release has the original trailer for the series --- itself a wonderful bit of animation, with a slightly different story.)

*laughs in Silver Spoon*
Seriously though, any new Hiromu Arakawa in translation is always a cause for celebration. This is definitely my top pick for this week.
