Interesting to see how far the plot of the game diverges (Sephiroth as a party member!?) but nice to see Cait Sith and Vincent.
Also Cloud on a segway... |

^ Sephiroth was a party member in the original game.
They could have released the game on February 28 or March 1. Why intentionally choose the leap year day is weird especially when they celebrate anniversaries. |

Haven't played the remake but technically Sefirot was just a party member during Cloud's flashback at Kalm when he told his team the story about how he and Sefirot, spoiler[actually Sefirot and Zack], went into a mission to check on the Mako reacor near Nibelheim. Still, I wonder how Yuffie and Vincent will play into the new story, since they were optional chaaracters in the original game, that's why they didn't appear in the original game's last cutscene, then Square made Dirge of Cerberus in which they explained Yuffie and Vincent were in a different location while Cloud and co. fought Sefirot |

Why the need to be technical when it doesn't change the fact that what I stated is correct? An in-depth explanation wasn't required. Nomura in the PS Blog interview hours ago: There was a scene with Cloud and Sephiroth fighting together, but will the player get to control Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth? Nomura: If you played the original Final Fantasy VII, I’m sure you can guess which scene I’m talking about. You will be able to control Sephiroth in the same scene in this title as you did in the original. |
