After the success of Minus One this is a no-brainer, though I wonder if Yamazaki will get to do what he talked about of doing a "Godzilla vs Another Kaiju" film.

This a as to be expected considering the success of Minus One but I do wonder if we actually need a sequel. Most of the Godzilla films that I like and I consider the best from the franchise are the non sequels films especially the ones from the Showa era.
