Wonder if they're going to do the 'skinny Sakamoto' bit when things get most intense. And if so, how? Second actor takes over?

Having two actors playing Sakamoto would feel kind of unconvincing, I guess they could try doing something similar to the Nutty Professor movies with Eddie Murphy, having the main actor wear a fat suit, some prosthetics and makeup. It's a tedious process, but it can be done.

What's the Japanese film industry's history of convincing fat suits and CGI? Is it something that's been employed a lot, particularly for the entire run of a movie vs. just a flashback scene or two?
I guess Sakamoto's typical stony expression and limited dialogue would mean the potential hindrance of facial acting from a fat suit would be nullified...

Ok, so it’s a Japanese film, not a Netflix film where Adam Sandler is Sakamoto. Seems like it will be ignored.

I wonder what kind of direction it will have.

Seems like it's one actor playing both Sakamoto's and it seems like they did a decent job adapting Fat Sakamoto into live-action.
I'm curious how they'll condense the plot for a movie. Maybe up to the fight at the lab? How much will Lu get to do? Although I doubt whoever they cast for her will actually be Chinese...
I hope they can deliver on the action sequences.
