4 wishes/hopes.
1. 2 cours instead of 1, though a brief break in between is fine 2. More action. Not necessarily fight scenes, but there was enough "walking simulator" stuff in season 1. Frieren, Fern and Stark have their characters fully established now. 3. More elves. 4. No real romantic developments for Fern and Stark; keep it basically status quo. This isn't that type of show plus they (especially Fern) aren't ready yet. |

That visual of Fern killing Stark just kills me.

Awesome!
But when are we getting part 2 of the Season 1 blu-rays? I hate how they split these up. Just give me and charge me for the whole thing up front!
1. I hope and believe that is more or less the plan, just like season 1. Ending at a good place on whatever episode # is appropriate. 2. Like Season 1, there will be the same balance of walk sim and action, with many new characters to introduce, pass by, and recurring ones to develop upon, and further world-building. Several early episodic stories will be at the start and here and there, preceding and following lengthier arcs. But don't worry, when the action comes, it'll kick ass! 3. You'll have to settle for more demons instead. 4. Fern and Stark will continue to develop together with the same pace as Season 1. |

Definitely looking forward to this,
But wow, there are a lot of sequels announced so far for the upcoming Winter Anime Season besides Frieren. official site Oshi no Ko official site Hell's Paradise official site Golden Kamuy official site Medalist official site Jujutsu Kaisen official site Fire Force official site My Hero Academia Vigilantes official site MF Ghost official site Blue Miburo official site Chained Soldier official site Tis Time for "Torture", Princess official site Also, I'll feel more confident about this one, once there is an actual episode count listed: Fate/strange Fake official site While it isn't a sequel series, there is a apparently an Undead Unluck special as well. official site Last edited by minamikaze on Sat Sep 27, 2025 12:16 am; edited 8 times in total |

They just started a collab with a gacha game I play, Epic 7, so I thought there must have been some kind of new imminent, not simply riding what was left of the wave from season 1. Looking forward to more Frieren.

Frieren and Jujutsu Kaisen in January? It's like spring and fall are becoming irrelevant.
