Thanks for the review! Reminded me that everyone I know has been *raving* about this series, so I’m willing to buy it sight unseen before the anime comes out later. an

All I can say is that the manga seems to be coming to a close with regard to the 'toxic marriage' issue. There are some twists, like all those adventures and dates are happening in less than two months!

It's very clear that the story doesn't want to go the harem route, but all of the girls recognize that they need to work on themselves more and leave room for Gero to figure himself out before they can make any massive leaps in their relationship. |
I always thought that given the logic by which he is dating multiple ladies, it'd make sense for them to be down for The Bachelor: Assassin Edition. He's not a sleazeball, and they know it -- it's just that "find a life partner" has recently become a top priority in his life. He's not stringing anyone along or avoiding resolving anything.

I don't see the logistics of an (increasingly likely) Gero/Kinosaki romance as a minus. To me that just serves as even more motivation for the story to end with Gero and friends beating the shit out of Gero's evil family.
