A reminder is that the movie that takes place directly after season 1 has STILL not been dubbed. If Crunchyroll has any sense at all, they'll see this as a good opportunity to finally dub that film. Most, if not all, of the actors from season 1 are still readily available. Hell, some of them reprise their roles in Isekai Quartet 3!

People have been asking about season 2 for forever (especially with Tanya appearing more in Isekai Quartet than in her own show) so this is good to see!

And yet Crunchyroll didn't dub the movie, when the S3 (dubbed) itself mentioning the events in the movie.

^ Seriously, what's the flippin' deal with Crunchyroll not dubbing series films? Is it so much harder to secure the rights to dub those compared to the TV series? I'm still waiting for Gridman Universe to get dubbed. What gives??

That's odd, because the movie did got dubbed to Latin American Spanish.

Finally! We were about to go on to 5 years since this was announced. Now between Isekai Quartet 3 and this, hopefully it means the movie will get dubbed. I've been holding off since 2020 in watching it. Nobody but Monica Rial is Tanya to me.

Unfortunately Crunchyroll seems to have no interest in actually keeping up with dubbing their back catalog, they've left a whole bunch of franchises hanging

I doubt it’s a lack of interest and more a lack of resources. It makes more sense to focus on new series. I’m sure they’ll still dub older stuff but it’s not a priority. The movie might get a dub depending on what happens with season 2.
