I remember starting to read the manga, but dropped it as the MC seemed to magically aquire new skills with no effort. I will check out the anime, it may translate better(and it looks really good!)

I've been loving the manga. The story is compelling and the art is great (some of the paneling in it just blows my mind). I hope the anime can really do it justice. Between this and Clevatess, it is nice to have a mini-resurgence of dark fantasy anime.
