I love Wendy's work, and am glad to see more of it being published An excellent move on Go Comi!'s part, a manga company publishing a female comic creator with a longstanding fanbase in the US, and a style that has great crossover appeal with a broad range of manga/comic readers.

Is this based on Edgar Allan Poe's story? If it is, it's bound to be interesting, since The Masque of the Red Death is more of a visual allegory than a story unto itself.

I believe it will be taking elements from it, with some original characters/plot worked in. The PR I've heard is that it'll also be something for somewhat more mature/sophisticated readers.
